The epitome of remote and majestic Philippines. The Gigantes island group is way off the grid, like no wifi, no mobile, incredible star-scapes at night, no light or noise pollution. Lot's of fresh seafood (and beer). There is no upscale bar/restaurant lifestyle vibe at this destination. Plan the trip in the dry season, there are rough seas and small boats - You want to make sure you can take the Island hopping tour - It's the highlight of the trip.

Be amaze of the wonders of nature and jaw dropping scenic view of the islands of isla gigantes. This is the only place i knew where the scallops are abundant like infinite. The selfie island, pulupandan, tangke and many more are island that will grab your attention on its clealines, blue water and powdery sands. Friendly locals and cheap tours. Cheers im sure i will go back to this place again.

The Gigantes Islands, also known as Islas de Gigantes or the islands of giants, is a remote group of islands located off the coast of Carles and Estancia towns in northeastern Iloilo, Philippines. It takes at least 5 hours to get there from Iloilo City. Those willing to go the “extra mile” can look forward to enjoying beautiful seascapes and a laid-back island lifestyle that Gigantes has to offer. The islands are blessed with pristine white sand beaches, bountiful fresh seafood, and jagged rock formations shrouded by mystical tales of locals. Despite the increase of tourist arrivals in recent years, Gigantes has retained its off-beat charm and remains relatively underdeveloped compared to Boracay, Bohol, and other mainstream tourist destinations in the Philippines.
